My experience with the Bobcat has been very positive. It was bought primarily for my wife to use several years ago - she had very little experience with handguns before this. She [ and I ] found the Bobcat to be very easy to control, and has good accuracy at short distance. The size of the Bobcat makes it easy to carry in a purse, pocket or glove box, and yes, we know the .22 is not a legendary man-stopper, but it is there when you might need it, and has been completely reliable.

Got mine last month and found that it likes Federal 40gr solids, dislikes any brand of hollow point. Reliable up to about 50 rounds before cleaning is needed, because it uses a tip up barrel, instead of a fixed barrel with extractor. No extractor means keep it clean or it will not eject. Put Crimson Trace grips on it and it is a tack driver at the range. It's built tough and aims easy, and conceals in a shirt pocket. This one is a keeper.
