upon receiving my mini mag22, i went to walmart and purchased a box of winchester dynapoint mag ammo and went to the firing range. i loaded 5 rounds and fired five times. two rounds did not fire. went on and fired the rounds again and the second time the round fired. we did this two times and both times the rounds failed but not the same cylinders.i saved the four spent casings and went to my gun smith with my problem. his investigation showed the rounds that did not fire the first time, as they were to tight in the cylinder and failed to fire, but did drive the round deeper into the cylinder allowing the round to fire the second time. after checking the remainder of the box of ammo about half of the rounds would not seat in the cylinder. he recommended that i go to the gun shop and purchase another brand of ammo and see if they would seat in the cylinder. i went to johns sporting good in pitsburg kan and purchased the only brand they had on hand which were cci hollow points. the gentleman who waited on me placed the new rounds in the cylinder and they seated perfect. i was very disappointed with the winchester ammo and would like to know how to contact them with this problem.

This was a gift from my father. It is one of the best carry pistols I''ve ever had! The fit and finish on the gun is wonderful and it shoots great! I can hit 4 balloons @ 25ft with no problem.
The ad said low noise... not this one! It sounds like a 9mm when it goes off. I''ve used 22mag shotshells with great effect on critters too.
IMHO, it likes CCI''s Maxi-Mag''s best. Winchester''s split the cases everytime I use them, but haven''t had one of the CCI''s do that.
Great Gun! Buy it, you''ll love it!
