The Berretta® M9 Pistol is no joke. Spot on right out of the box as expected but not at the price I got for from TGSCOM. I shot well over 120 rounds the first time out with no issues. If you miss out on getting one of these in the near future, I can promise you that the new M9''s will soon disappear as the Beretta 90-2 9mm replaces it. All I can say is don''t miss out while the price is right on an excellent service quality pistol. Just think about how cheap all those HK MP5 and G3 parts kits were serveral years ago and how much they cost now. Shipping was fast and my transfer was flawless.

Had the United States Military ]Navy[ issue of this fine weapon when we ''retired'' the .45 1911 variations. I was a bit disappointed with it in comparison. Stopping power is lacking, but the larger mag cap made up for it. ]Could squeeze more off should rounds 1 & 2 fail to stop[The recoil & climb of the weapon was not that much less than a 1911, or so it seemed and it jammed more than I would have ever thought. When I retired ]8 months ago after 27 years of total combine Active Service[I purchased this very model. I was even more disappointed by it than what was issued in service.
I upgraded, yes UPGRADED to a Taurus PT92 and have never looked back. The Taurus is more durable, couple of hundred less and has yet to jam. My civie M9 jammed within the first 100 rounds. Just my experience, I do respect all here that have had better luck and I know that this weapon has the potential of being what everyone rating it 5 stars claims. However my experience both in and out of Active Service is to the contrary. I also agree, that this would be and is, a fine purchase NOW before impending changes make it harder to find and therefore driving up the price.
Nevertheless, I have given it 4 stars because of possible intervening circumstances and from what other folks have related to me. I do however stand by my statement that a Taurus PT92 and variations thereof, is a much better value, better weapon and thus a superior choice in a large frame .9mm. Humbly and Respectfully, Master Chief
