My husband and I love the Taurus Slim, not alot of recoil for its size and is accurate but the sites needed to be tweaked alittle out the box. It feels comfortable in my small hand but as a petite female i went with the smaller Ruger LCP for more concealability but unfortunately has more recoil compared to the Slim.
